Dr. Eugene Oh

Dr. Eunseok 'Eugene’ Oh, our periodontics specialist, received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from New York University (2005). After practicing general dentistry for a few years, Dr. Oh pursued his specialty training at Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine.

Dr. Oh has received many awards, including the Dr. Bernard E. Rudner Memorial Award for superior performance in comprehensive care and applied practice dentistry, Honors in Hospital Residency, and a Dental Scholarship from New York University.

Most recently, Dr. Oh was selected as the best dentist by Washingtonian, Virginia Living, and Northern Virginia Magazine.

Dr. Tony Palumbo

Dr. Palumbo is a graduate of Boston College with a B.S. in Biochemistry.  He received a Doctor of Dental Medicine from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine (2008).  After receiving his dental degree, Dr. Palumbocompleted a 3-year Advanced Education Program in Periodontics from Stony Brook University. He is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, the American Board of Periodontology, and the Academy of Osseointegration.  Dr. Palumbo has received the Outstanding Dental Student in Implant Dentistry Award from the Academy of Osseointegration.  Dr. Palumbo is also a published author of peer-reviewed journal articles in Periodontal Perspectives and author of the opening chapter “The Anatomy and Physiology of the Healthy Periodontium” in the textbook Gingival Diseases - Their Aetiology, Prevention, and Treatment. He attained Board Certification with the American Board of Periodontology in 2012.  Dr. Palumbo specializes in periodontal and implant treatments, including gingival grafting, implant placement, sinus augmentation, and advanced bone augmentation.  Dr. Palumbo worked in private practice in upstate NY before moving to Virginia.
